Neat Things Our Club Has Done

The Rotaract Club of Regina Auxilium is involved with a number of projects in and around Regina, Saskatchewan; these include monthly visits to the Marian Centre, yearly volunteer oppourtunities with Regina HELP Portraits and RSO's Symphony Under the Sky, and the Rotaract Club of Regina Auxilium's very own Annual Polio Awareness Night.

Mother's Day Fruit Baskets

May 13, 2017

This year REACH Regina held a Mother's Day fundraiser. We helped assemble and deliver Mother's Day Fruit Baskets while connecting with a new local organization. Although this event only took a couple of hours, it was rewarding to do something special for very deserving moms in our community.

We were happy to help and look forward to going back next year!

Annual Polio Awareness Event

May 09, 2017

Every year since the Rotaract Club of Regina Auxilium has been chartered, the club has hosted an annual 'Polio Awareness Night'. This event has helped our club raise over $16,000 for Polio Plus during the last six years. This year marked the 7th Annual Polio Awareness Night for which we held a steak night at Bushwakker Brewpub.

Join the club to take part in planning next year's event!

Rotary's Annual Valentine's Day Gala

February 10, 2017

Every year, all the Rotary Clubs in Regina join together to put on a beautiful fundraiser. This past year, the event was held at the Delta Hotel. The dinner was delicious and there were great speakers, raffles, games, and tables filled with silent auction items.

Rotaract Club works the coat check, the games, and the 50/50 draw as a fundraiser. We had a great time networking with great Rotarians over supper. Contact us if you'd like to help out next year!

Paper Crane Workshop

January 25, 2017

Our group went out to The Paper Crane Community Arts Center for a workshop. It was a great night away from our busy, hectic lives to do some introspection through art.

We were given the opportunity to explore how we look at, feel about & use our own leadership skills. The results were beautiful pieces of art and lessons to use in the future.

Let us know if you have other leadership programs that offer training in professional development!

Help-Portrait Regina

December 03, 2016

Help Portraits is a global movement. Every December, photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists all around the world find people in need, take and print their picture, and then deliver it—free of charge.

Our Club has proudly volunteered with the Regina Help-Portrait movement for the last 5 years. Check out their Facebook Page and get involved with this great movement either on your own or with us!

Mini Help-Portrait 2016

November 19, 2016

We took a Saturday out of our busy schedules to help spread some cheer this year. Students and families from Jean Vanier school were invited to come get their hair and make-up done before taking family portraits.

Staff, students and volunteers all had a great time. This was a much smaller event than our regular Help-Portrait events, but it was just a rewarding!

Habitat for Humanity Group Build

August 27, 2016

We signed up for our first group build, and it was awesome! No previous experience was required. We all spread out to work on different housing units and tasks that we felt comfortable doing. All in all, it was a great day, and we're back again this month!

Let us know if you'd be interested in volunteering with us on February 25th!

Wedding Fundraisers

August 13, 2016

As a way to raise funds for our various local and international projects, members from our Rotaract Club have sold drink tickets and been bartenders at weddings.

We charge $15/hour per person & require 1 person to be employed for every 50 guests.

Let us know if you could use help in this capacity; keeping in mind that 100% of profits are forwarded to a great cause.
